This bus is pure fifties: after the deprivation of the war and post-war years, it headed for a better future with streamlining and roof glazing. And this was just beyond the Alps, in sunny Italy, on the glamorous Côte d'Azur.

Designed as a coach, the vehicle was equipped with comfortable and adjustable seats. The rest of the equipment was also state of the art: microphone and radio system, record player, central ventilation duct, auxiliary heating. If it got too hot under the glazed roof in the south, you could always open the windows.

This vehicle is still very versatile today: much rarer than a ‘Schnauzen’ postbus, the sleek appearance adds a special touch to a wedding or a company outing. Travelling abroad or supra-regional day trips are no problem. When driving over mountain passes, however, you have to take it easy - all too soon the little engine runs out of breath...
