Postal yellow, long nose and opening roof: the Alpenwagen III is the classic postbus par excellence. Built in the tradition of the late 1930s, our car belongs to the last series of this type, which was delivered to the PTT between 1949 and 1952.
The vehicle is ideal for weddings, pass trips or excursions in the region.
However, if the stages are planned accordingly, excursions lasting several days are also possible - a luggage trailer compensates for the lack of storage space. The vehicle is equipped with a Euro speedometer and can be taken abroad.
Snow chains, tyres and the excellent weight distribution still make the Alpenwagen absolutely suitable for winter even today. However, the heating corresponds to the standard of the 1950s - so good clothing is ‘warmly’ recommended in winter!
